Hope you are having a blessed week! It’s been beautiful here in CDA though a little gray and windy at times this week. I love my wife’s landscaping work – we’ve got six shades of tulips in our front flowerbed and I love em! And more and more annuals are poking up and getting ready to bloom.
Things are bloomin’ at 1stPres too!
Welcome Emily & Laura – our new receptionist team! Laura started this week and Emily will join us after her recovery from successful gall-bladder surgery. Stop by and say hello!
Christcare Breakfast this Sunday, which is always a great time, filling the gym with happy eaters, old friends and new. Finally, a real highlight with the new “God Within” series is hearing testimonies each week from 1stPres people who have a story to share about God working and moving in their life. There’s something about hearing a genuine experience of God’s love that trumps listening to a sermon or even singing a favorite hymn. Steve Balas shared his story last Sunday – and this Sunday will have a very powerful story from a 1stPres couple sharing an incredible journey of trust and faith.
See you Downtown at 1stPres this Sunday!
