Christmas Families 2021
Our Deacons continue to support our Love 1st mission by gifting families in need within our downtown Coeur d'Alene community. The Deacons interview each family to determine their needs and how we can best help them at Christmas.
This year we are trying something a little different. We are setting up a store with items that are purchased with the individual families in mind. So this year we do not need you to wrap the gifts. Families will be able to pick what they would like for their children, just as if they were shopping in a store. We feel this gives the parent / guardian the opportunity to participate in the gift giving effort. We will also have a gift wrapping center available.
We have six families this year that have been recommended by the schools and one family from the nonprofit organization Love Inc. |
The Deacons have set up boxes for each family in Krueger Hall along with more detailed information and a list of their needs and wishes. If you have any questions, please reach out to the lead deacon for that family. Thank you for your continued support in showing our Love 1st to our community families who are in need.
Please join us as we share the love of God with these families. You are invited to help by either purchasing something from our families list or by making a contribution found in Options for Giving below. We will have our family’s information ready for you by the week of Nov. 8, 2021. |
