We are a welcoming group for middle and high schoolers to get plugged in with peers, learn about God, be cared for and mentored by outstanding volunteers, and have a great time! Our mission … LOVE1st. Whether your middle or high schooler joins us for Sunday mornings in worship or special events, your child will have opportunities to connect with peers, grow in their faith, and serve together. Friends are always welcome!
Sunday Mornings
Our middle and high schoolers are invited to the youth room during the 9 am service for a safe space to connect with one another, explore and learn more about who God is, and be supported and encouraged in their lives! Link Mentoring
LINK is a mentorship and connection opportunity for 1st Pres Youth. It's mission is to encourage students and their families through meaningful relationships with mentors in the congregation who have a heart to connect with and serve. We believe students are uniquely and wonderfully created, and look forward to supporting their interests and activities, as well as encouraging them in their walk with Jesus. We will begin our next Confirmation offering June 2024. This deep dive into faith will be led by Pastor McLane and Kierstie, and together we’ll ask and explore big questions about an even bigger God! Confirmation is open to all middle and high schoolers (including incoming 6th graders). PLEASE let us know if your middle or high schooler is interested in engaging in Confirmation HERE.
