Choir

Music is an integral and vibrant part of each service at 1st Pres and we love to make a joyful noise!

Our choir is a warm and welcoming group. We have fun together, work hard, and know that joy is paramount to singing together. We sing most Sundays at the 9 am service from September through May, with rehearsals on Thursdays from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Your love of singing in choirs is all we ask. 

  • We sing a variety of pieces, from spirituals to classical anthems.
  • There are YouTube videos for practicing parts.
  • Once a month, we offer Casual Choir Sunday. This is for people who love to sing but who may have busy lives that preclude them from joining every week. You hop aboard on Sunday morning for a quick rehearsal before the service. Of course, you may practice during the week with the practice videos provided on an unlisted YouTube channel.
