A Summer Reflection

My favorite part about my church family is that I’ve been going to this church for about three years now, and it feels like I’ve been here my whole life. I’ve been a part of about three different churches in my lifetime. All three have made an impact on me and helped shape me as a person.

The First Pres community has been my family in Coeur d’Alene when I was struggling to find where I fit in. I am grateful for that in the deepest sense! The people of the church have been there to teach me and accept me as part of a bigger family when I needed it most. You all have been there to love, accept and support me in whatever endeavors I face next, and I’m eternally grateful.

Because of the circumstances of today, my summer internship ended up being much of a rocky road. I can walk away, though, knowing that no matter where I go next, I can always come back to a loving home and community.

Thank you!

In His Name, Rosanna

What Carol said...

Hey, if you go out to the airport to see the B-25 , take Dad & Mom to the Bird Aviation Museum and Invention Center so he can see and explain the Iron Lung and Dr. Forrest Bird's invention that replaced it. The Bird Respirator is still amazing, and I'm intrigued by the one he developed for dolphins and seals. Their volunteer docent explained to me that PercussionAire in Sandpoint is still manufacturing his respirators, though we're not too sure about the newer electronic versions, because they require electricity (not always available in some locations).

Thank you so much for sharing your love and talents with our Children's program this summer. I'm sure you touched many of our children with your beautiful smile and friendly manner.
I wish you much success as you move on in your education and life. Remember you will always have a special spot with your 1st Pres family. You are loved!
Blessings to you, dear Rosanna!

You have been such a great role model and inspiration to our children and youth of our congregation. As you move forward, may you always feel God's presence and blessings follow you. You have touched so many of us with your beautiful heart. Your 1st Presbyterian family will be here praying for your success in everything you go after. May God's Blessings follow you. We love you.
