Prince of Peace

4/11/2023

There's trouble in the air.  Just read the papers. Jerusalem, a lightning rod for three world religions.  Growing tensions between China and USA. Mass shootings in our cities. And of course Ukraine. And this is just the short list.  Everywhere we seem to be reeling against each other and against God. Strife, disorder and conflict is the norm.

But there's a counter offering to these problems. The Prince of Peace came down and walked among us. And He will

come again as the King of the Universe. But in the meantime let us be foot soldiers with peace as our armor, with love as our weapon.  During this holy season in our church calendar I'm remembering each day these mantras, hymns and scriptures:

 *He is our Peace
*There will be Peace like a river
 *Peace I leave with you
 *My Peace I give you
 *The passing of the Peace
*May the God of hope fill you with joy and Peace
 *Peace be with you
 *Shalom, Peace

In His Name,
Kent

Just repeating those words gives me peace. These are truly the words we need to focus upon! Thanks for sharing, Kent.

Thanks for the wonderful reminders to focus on Christ instead of the chaos and turmoil we are experiencing. It is difficult sometimes to keep our focus on the things that matter.
